STEP 01

Qualify

You need a formula iRating of 4,000 or higher, a C-class safety rating or better, and to be 15 or older. Gill Kaszuba signs off on every seat.

STEP 02

Race the season

Race the FIA Formula 4 Challenge - Fixed as a Crosslink driver. Everyone runs the same car and the same setup. Eclipse Operations calls strategy, puts a crew chief and spotter on your radio at major events, reviews your data after each round, and sends Crosslink an evaluation of every driver four times a year.

STEP 03

Test the F4

Win the championship and Crosslink Motorsports puts you in a Formula 4 car for a full test day at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas, with a data debrief after. The team supplies the car, crew, tires, fuel and track time. You cover travel and lodging.

  • Start every round of the season
  • Finish the season in good standing with the team, with no open conduct matter
  • iRacing's published standings decide it
  • Accept in writing within 14 days. If the champion can't or doesn't, the prize passes down the standings to third place
What's in the test day?

  • Data review and a debrief after each round
  • An evaluation of every driver to Crosslink Motorsports four times a year: pace, consistency, racecraft, attitude
Does joining make me a Crosslink Motorsports driver?

No. You're a member of the sim team, not an employee or contractor of Crosslink Motorsports or Eclipse Operations. The test day is a test day, not a race seat. Anything after it is between you and Crosslink Motorsports.

Will the team race anything other than F4?

The F4 Fixed championship is the flagship. We're planning special events alongside it: sports car one-offs and team entries in iRacing's special events. Rostered drivers get first call, and we post each event here once it's confirmed.
